About the service at Wandsworth CABx

Initial Advice Service (IAS)

Wandsworth Citizens Advice Bureaux Service (WCABx) provides initial advice for personal callers who live in the borough of Wandsworth at an advice centre in the Parliamentary Constituencies of Battersea, Roehampton and Tooting. 

The IAS is provided by trained advisers who have completed the Citizens Advice Certificate in Generalist Advice work.

 The IAS is delivered as follows:

• an initial assessment of the clients enquiry will be made

• immediate advice and assistance will be provided for straight forward enquiries and emergencies

• clients with complex issues will be sign posted or referred to an appropriate provider including other WCABx services
